APPLY FOR A COURSE

Uniting energies

FRIDAY 7TH – SUNDAY 9TH NOVEMBER 2025

the mechanics of mediumship: blending science with spirit – with les henderson csnu & chris connelly dsnu

The Winifred-Gandine Stanton Trust regularly presents subsidised educational opportunities for those looking to developing their ability and understanding of National Spiritualism & Psychic Studies.

Each course that we coordinate is subsidised – by this we mean the Trust covers the main core of costs associated with the running and hosting of the event, but we will usually ask for successful applicants to pay a contribution cost. The details of this are laid out in the course specifics, below.

Given that we always receive more interest than we can accomodate on our fantastic educational opportunities, and given the Trust’s objects, we have an application process for those interested in attending any of our courses. As such, applying does not mean you will automatically be enrolled in the course. Our application form does provide space for you to detail any circumstances we should be aware of when considering your application.

QUESTIONS? – Should you have any questions or queries about applying, or any issues with completing this form, please contact applications@wgstrust.org.

Application deadline – Monday 15th September 2025.

Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take for me to hear back after an application is submitted?

This will be heavily dependent on the timing of each individual course/event, and the number of applicants that we receive.

Our clerk and Trustees consider all applications, and you will be informed as soon as possible as to whether or not your application has been successful.

Are all applications considered?

All applications for courses are considered. As a registered charity, and as is in keeping with the Trust’s remits, we will usually prioritise those who would otherwise struggle to be able to attend such opportunities (for whatever reason), but every application is considered.

Please note – some courses may have specific conditions that need to be met for an application to be considered; for instance, if a course has a minimum experience or ability requirement, which is usually stipulated by the mentors, and not the Trust or Trustees.

What are the Trust's missions and objects?

The four Objects of the Winifred Gandine-Stanton Trust, as set out in its Trust Deed, are as follows:

* The promotion of Spiritualism in accordance with the Seven Principles

* The promotion of Psychic Studies and Sciences

* The promotion of Spiritual Healing

* Provide support and benevolence to Spiritualists who may be in need

If my application is successful, what will I be expected to pay?

The Trust covers the majority of costs for running and hosting our educational opportunities. However, for most courses, we do ask for a contribution payment from successful applicants. This contribution payment will be detailed in the course overview.

How do I make my contribution payment?

When you are informed of your application being successful, you will be provided with a link to make payment. For the majority of courses and payments, we will be moving to an online, secure payment system.

Whom do I contact regarding my application?

Should you need to amend, update or retract your application, please email clerk@wgstrust.org, providing as much information pertaining to your application as possible.

If my application is unsuccessful, can I apply again in future?

Yes – we are striving to make our educational opportunities available to as many people across the UK as possible, so welcome applications for all and any of our courses.

I have already attended a WGST subsidised course - can I apply again?

Yes, though please be aware, in keeping with the Trust’s objects, we aim to provide educational opportunities to as many people as possible.

Being a previous attendee does not preclude you from applying, but we cannot guarantee that you will be successful in securing a spot on future courses.
